Headquartered in Leeds, Help-Link is a UK market leader in energy efficient domestic boiler and central heating installation, service and maintenance.
Founded in 1998, the company has enjoyed considerable growth over recent years and has invested heavily in its delivery capability and operational platform. This enabled the company to offer exceptional customer service using the highest quality products on the market at an affordable price.
NorthEdge backed the company in April 2013 and was attracted to Help-Link because of its strong market position and reputation for excellent customer service. Help-Link had invested heavily in its operational platform, systems and infrastructure to create a business of scale with a strong national footprint.
Following NorthEdge’s investment, Help-Link went on to further strengthen its senior management team with key appointments during 2015/16 and secured significant national relationships with blue chip companies such as EDF Energy as a result.
NorthEdge announced its exit of Help-Link in August 2017. The company entered into an agreement to be acquired by international home repairs and improvements group HomeServe plc, in a move that marked the next step in the company’s growth and allowed HomeServe to create a new UK-wide home heating business – bringing together installations, servicing and repairs. The deal valued the Help-Link business at up to £22.7m.
