Real Deals Private Equity Awards
Last week we were thrilled to be announced as a winner at the Real Deals Private Equity Awards. Held in London, the awards celebrate excellence in European Private Equity and are regarded as the longest running and most prestigious awards in the industry.
On the night we won the ‘ESG – GP’ category – a specialist award that recognises our continued to commitment to best practice in ESG. Judges were particularly impressed with how we integrate ESG into our investment strategy, how we collect ESG data internally and across our portfolio, and how our policies, transparency and approach continue to stand out from our peers.
The win follows on from other recent successes for Team NorthEdge, having won the ‘Value Creation Portfolio Collaboration Award’ at the Actum Group Private Equity Value Creation Awards, as well as winning the ‘ESG (Small Cap)’ award at the inaugural Real Deal ESG Awards and NorthEdge becoming the world’s first private equity firm to achieve Gold Carbon Literate Organisation status from the Carbon Literacy Project.

Northern Tech Awards Top 100
We were also delighted to see four of our portfolio companies feature in the Northern Tech Awards Top 100 this year. Based on revenue growth across the last three years, the rankings recognise the top 100 fastest growing technology companies in the North of the UK, with Distology, Pimberly, Cloud Technology Solutions and CMap all featured.
The North continues to play a significant role in shaping the wider tech ecosystem within the UK and we are proud to back ambitious management teams within the sector, supporting them to build better businesses.
