Earlier this year NorthEdge Executive Chair, Grant Berry, ran the London Marathon in support of the National Brain Appeal – a charity close to his heart. Joined by 48,000 fellow runners and cheered on by the mass crowds, Grant finished the marathon in a time of four hours and 51 minutes – his third quickest time from six marathons.

In total Grant managed to raise an astonishing £44,000, plus an additional £9,000 of gift aid, for the National Brain Appeal. The charity raises vital funds to support world leading centres for the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients with neurological and neuromuscular conditions.

Grant’s efforts will support those touched by Dementia and other similar conditions, as well as raising awareness for the new Rare Dementia Centre, which will open in London in the next few years – the world’s first centre of its kind.
