NorthEdge wins PE House of the Year: Lower Mid-Cap at Real Deals awards

We are delighted to share that earlier this month NorthEdge was awarded PE House of the Year: Lower Mid-Cap (EV on entry €25-50m) at the Real Deals Sustainable Investment Awards.

The awards recognise firms who are driving meaningful change, raising standards and advancing best practices in sustainable investment across the industry.

The PE House of the Year: Lower Mid-Cap (EV on entry €25-50m) category was based on a firm’s commitment to best practice in ESG, looking at how sustainability is integrated within a firm’s investment strategy; how ESG data is collected, analysed and reported; as well as how the firm’s sustainability policies stand out from its peers.

Lucie Mills, Partner at NorthEdge, said: “We are extremely proud to have received this award, particularly given it is the third time we have won in the last four years. This recognition highlights our differentiated approach and long-standing commitment to building better businesses across the UK regions – where we believe that sustainability, when approached in the right way, is a driver of long-term value creation.”

The Real Deals award follows NorthEdge’s recent win at the BVCA Excellence in Sustainability awards in September. We were awarded Top Recognised Firm for the GP Below 1bn AUM category, with judges commenting on our ‘innovative efforts to quantify the economic and social value generated by its activities in UK regions’.
