At the end of last month, we hosted our CFO Forum. The event was exclusively for portfolio CFOs and provided them an opportunity for them to share best practice, network with other CFOs across the portfolio and hear from some of our operating partners.

The theme of the event was ‘Getting exit ready’, with presentations focused on what businesses can do to be in their best position for a successful exit within this challenging market, as well as what work they can start well ahead of an exit process.

Throughout the day, we had a number of sessions including an economic update from former EY UK Chief Economist, Mark Gregory; an update on the debt markets from Deloitte; a review on the current market trends and common legal pitfalls in exit processes with Addleshaw Goddard; the importance of data and building data cubes with PwC; and a look ahead to our cyber and information security programme for the upcoming year with CISOselect.

A big thank you to everyone who took the time out of their schedules to attend and to our speakers who shared their valuable insights and experiences. We hope our CFOs were able to take something away from the session that they can implement in their own businesses over the coming months.
