Mission Christmas 2023

Mission Christmas 2023

Once again, we have been delighted to see the efforts from across our business and portfolio, with people going above and beyond in support of our environment, colleagues and communities.

This December, we were proud to run our Mission Christmas campaign for the fourth year in a row to support Wood Street Mission in Manchester, Toys4Bham in the Midlands and Yorkshire Children’s Charity in Leeds. This year, we collectively donated over 400 gifts and selection boxes!

Wood Street Mission

Wood Street Mission is a children’s charity dedicated to providing practical help and supplies to children and families living on a low income in Manchester and Salford.

Toys4Bham

A campaign aligned with Thrive Together Birmingham, Warwickshire County Cricket Club, Birmingham PlayCare Network and Birmingham Mail, Toys4Bham is an initiative to help collect gifts for vulnerable children and young people in Birmingham.

Yorkshire Children’s Charity

Yorkshire Children’s Charity is a charity that helps children across Yorkshire, where one third of children live in poverty, who are at a disadvantage in life due to disability, ill health, or financial circumstance.

Our support alongside many others will ensure that thousands of children across Manchester, Yorkshire and Birmingham will have something special to open on Christmas Day.

Throughout 2023, we have also supported:

We were proud to raise and donate over £125,000 for charity in 2023, supporting local, regional and national organisations that mean a lot to Team NorthEdge.

Like us, our portfolio companies also take their role as responsible businesses seriously. Some of the positive portfolio impact highlights include:

Cloud Technology Solutions dusted off their shin pads to support the Behind Every Kick campaign at an annual five-a-side football tournament in London, raising money to empower London’s young people.

Hublsoft continued its ‘Where in the world is Hubl’ fundraising challenges with a summer event in 2023.

Clearly Drinks took part in the CEO Sleepout UK and raised £3,000 for Walking with the Wounded as they braved the cold stay in at the Stadium of Light overnight to help raise awareness for those in need.

Altia collected donations and accessories for the Nottingham and Glasgow offices for the Smart Works charity and hosted various bake sales throughout the year to raise money for Embrace Child Victims of Crime (CVoC).

Antibody Analytics donated back-to-school backpacks to Re:Hope Church’s School Supplies Project, filled with essentials including stationery, lunch boxes and more for children across Glasgow.

We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for everyone’s efforts and support this past year. We look forward to seeing what we can achieve together in 2024 as we continue building better businesses, and communities, together.
