In recognition of our ongoing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) activity, we were thrilled to be announced as the winner of the ‘Most Improved Fund’ award at Equality Group’s Honordex PE & VC Awards 2023, following our score improving from 24 in the 2022 Honordex Inclusive PE & VC Index to 63 this year – the most material improvement out of all 300 firms assessed globally.
Overall this year we achieved 6th place out of the 211 European PE & VC firms assessed in the index, which seeks to profile the top performers in terms of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I), to celebrate their achievements and inspire other firms to develop further. In producing the index, Honordex provides an in-depth and scientifically backed analysis of over 300 firms globally, with 211 firms representing the European market, comparing them across seven different DE&I categories. The index is scored using a range of DE&I criteria based on publicly available materials – such as an organisation’s website, social media profiles, HR policies and company reports.
We are thrilled to be recognised both as a top European performer and the most improved fund in terms of our DE&I performance. This demonstrates our ongoing commitment to creating a more diverse and inclusive culture at NorthEdge, and across our portfolio, as we recognise that having a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture can lead to faster growth, productivity, innovation – ultimately creating more value for all stakeholders.
