In our latest episode of Beyond the Capital we spoke to Jon Pickering, Partner and Chief Investment Officer at NorthEdge.

After graduating from Leeds University, Jon moved to Manchester to pursue a career as an accountant. He trained in audit for four years, before moving into the world of corporate finance, where he came across Grant Berry, Ray Stenton and Andy Ball. Working closely with Grant and Ray in an advisory capacity, Jon soon got invited to work alongside them at LDC.

As NorthEdge was formed, Jon was asked  to make the move and join Grant, Ray and Andy at their new business. Despite the risk of moving away from a stable Plc bank environment, Jon decided to take the leap and has gone on to spend the last ten years growing his career at NorthEdge.
