This Sunday was Data Privacy Day – a day which serves to raise awareness and promote privacy and data protection best practices.
With reports suggesting that at the end of 2023, 65% of the world’s population have personal data covered under modern privacy regulations, up from 10% in 2022. This highlights that the future of cyber and information security is continuing to come into sharper focus.
In the coming years, it’s expected that 60% of organisations will use cyber security risk as a primary determinant in conducting third-party transactions and business engagements. This is a result of 98% of organisations experiencing at least one cloud data breach in the last 18 months and global cyber attacks increasing by 38% in 2022 compared to 2021.
Our latest Technology Report details why cyber and information security should be a key focus for businesses and the role that it plays in supporting the delivery of strategic business objectives and sustainable growth.
